There is an option to save the configuration in patchbay . When you initiate the file your connections will be there.

What adapter are you using to connect to the computer? Not all adapters are recognized. The easiest way would with a DI box.

I use UbuntuStudio running Ardour and Patchage for JACK control. I have no problem working with my PreSonus AudioBox DI. If you use the Ardour version that is included and don't try to update it, you should be fine; it will provide a basic DAW. The user manual is a bit dated but the info will help y...

concur with varpa on the resources. In my experience, JACK is the issue, that is the connections may not correctly aligned. Every issue I have had of that sort I was able to fix by looking at the connections in and out of Ardour in the Jack connections window.

j_e_f_f_g, agree with the others on the volume being low, but it was like hat before.
The UI issue will take some time to personalise but will keep on working on it.

It works without any issues so far. Still putting it through its paces, trying to configure the window and such, but as far as the back up bit goes, no issues.

I use Patchage; I find it is easy to use and visualize the connections. I have not tried anything else other than qJackctl so I cannot advantges or disadvantages over any other patchBay.

I have anone PreSonus AudioBox USB 2x2 and have to kill pulseaudio at startup everytime. I see that you uninstalled pulse, but I would still check the sound configuration to ensure the setup is right.

Forgot to DD this to my reply but, I run muy six string guitar through rakarrack selecting the bass setting. Hope that helps.
