Hi has anybody tried this new Jack controls option yet? Sounds pretty amazing, kind of like core audio on MacOS.

Drum Triggering
Hi everyone! I'm trying to replace some kick and snare drums in a few sessions in Mixbus. LSP triggersensor keeps crashing when I try to get it to work, onset trigger doesn't seem to pick anything up. Are there any alternatives on Linux that I'm not aware of? ------------ AV-Linux Mixbus 4 Intel i3-...

Re: Stereo widening
Hi dzimbo, I think you don't want a plugin for this, you can just use the automation function of each track (http://brunoruviaro.github.io/ardour3-floss-tutorial/using-automation/) you just automate the panning (like in the tutorial in the link but instead of "Fader" click on "Pan&quo...

Celemony Melodyne Essentials working ootb
Hi, just wanted to share that I got Melodyne 4.2 32bit to work in AV-Linux by just running the installer. Great stuff, might get rid of Windows altogether now ))

Re: I feel like giving up with audio as a whole
Does Claudia work on your system even if it's based on Ladish? Have you tried? Have you tried Claudia? It might just do the trick and it has sessions. I think Ladish is not really used a lot in itself but Claudia / Catia could be the way to go. In AV-Linux these work flawlessly. https://kxstudio.lin...

Re: I feel like giving up with audio as a whole
Hi Yama, can you specify why you want to have other applications playing sound at the same time? Maybe there's a workaround to your problem. When working with jack: Have you tried patchage or catia? They work ab bit like ladish but are more recent stable.

Re: I feel like giving up with audio as a whole
I'd suggest to forget about Jack, ladish and all of that stuff. Jack is a great tool but can be a bit fiddly to setup. Simply use a recent version of Ardour in ALSA mode. Plugin your Keyboard, create a midi track with your favourite softsynth and set the input to your midi device. It's really easy a...
