I don't believe it happens but if a company closes, what is the chance they release the source code?

Re: RIP Finale Notation. Next notation program to try?
I think I answered my post already with Musescore 4. It seems to offer so much and it already works with Linux. Now its just going to take time to somehow convert 24 years of scores to this new format.

RIP Finale Notation. Next notation program to try?
I have used Finale since college-days in the late 90s. Now that it's gone, I can still use it ... for now. I am looking around as I want to be able to move to the next notation program before my Finale version stops and I am stuck. I looked at the Steinberg Dorio Pro that they are sending the finale...

AVLinux +amd graphics + wine menu issues
Hello everyone. I am using the MX version of AVLinux. Latest as far as I know. Is there something I can/should add within winetricks to help with the redraw inside of wine apps? An example is using Pianoteq (the wine version through Finale). I select a drop down menu item and it doesnt show anything...

Re: How could I PIN a connection so it doesnt reset each time I choose a new track on a media player?
I am running 22.04. Ubuntu Studio. I uninstalled some things and installed Cadence and KXStudio things. Then I pulled off most pulseaudio stuff and replaced it with pipewire.

How could I PIN a connection so it doesnt reset each time I choose a new track on a media player?
Hi. I am wondering if someone has a solution to something that is perplexing me. I am wanting to run my audio through my linuxDSP peq-2A. When I switch tracks (doesnt happen if it runs through the playlist automatically) it loses the connection from deadbeef to my peq-2A then the audio card. Same wi...

Re: ERROR: JackEngine::XRun: client
I am using Mixbus 6.2. Maudio 8.
When I set the frames to 1024, the xruns go away.
So that is what I will do. I will keep the buffer settings high as the extra latency is needed on my setup to record without xruns.

Re: Thread for AV Linux 2020.4.10 Issues
Hi Glen and Musicians, I am working on a new laptop with two nvme drives. Win10 on 1st and Ubuntu 20.04 zfs on 2nd slot. Then I got an update about the new AVL64 and knew the Ubuntu was coming off. 1. Systemback didnt acknowledge my 2nd nvme. So I formatted the drive to ext4/swap. Rebooted. 2. This...
