*buntu 10

WTF factor Windows 10 compatible? Requirements Alongside enough storage to hold the Ubuntu Core image, installation on a Raspberry Pi also requires a screen and keyboard to navigate a few installation prompts. These aren’t needed post-installation. Additionally, you will need an Ubuntu SSO account ,...

Re: MIDI interface success stories?

I use an "Ensoniq KMX-16" MIDI patchbay (the manual for KMX-8 http://www.midimanuals.com/manuals/ensoniq/kmx-8/users_guide/kmx_8_users_guide.pdf ) which is connected directly to the RME AIO MIDI I/O. Even better from filter/setting range and operation would be a "MIDITemp MP44". ...

OK, I didn't know that. Yes, it would be helpful if the documentation referred to it as well. It had made me wonder.

Re: MIDISport 8x8/s firmware loads but no ports

The 8x8/s is not listed there, only the 8x8. Maybe there is a difference between the two devices.
Normally you install the midisport firmware via your patetmanager and after that the device is recognized and you can use it. So it was with me at least, I had to build nothing myself and / or adapt.

Re: Scarlett 18i20 gen 3 Linux - Crackling Audio

Anyways - does anyone here know ANY 16x16 or above interface (using ADAT) that IS NOT Behringer UMC1820 and works on Linux without this implicit feedback bug? An RME Hammerfall DSP MADI/RayDAT/AIO. I have been using the AIO (18/20 I/O, the MADI/RayDAT has even more I/O) successfully for almost 10 y...

Re: MIDISport 8x8/s firmware loads but no ports

Welcome, you install the midisport-firmware via the package manager of your distribution. According to the http://usb-midi-fw.sourceforge.net/ , only the 8x8 is listed, not the 8x8/s. No idea if this is important - what does the "s" stand for? # Timers, rtmidi, raw ALSA, jack MIDI https://...
