Re: New LMMS album: Ghosts of your nights

Thanks for the comment.
I really like the "spooky" word. Spooky music describes nicely this music :D
I've found LMMS really useful to build quickly ideas. I've tried MuseScore, but MuseScore is too cumbersome to be able to write quickly ideas.

Hello ! I just posted a new album on Jamendo: https://www.jamendo.com/album/194590/ghosts-of-your-nights It has been made using LMMS (1.2.1) and Dexed, NoiseMaker and some others plugins. Re: Fedora packages?

Sorry for the delay ...
I am currently trying to become an official Fedora package maintainer.
It's a "long" process but I am confident, I will finish to succeed the tests :)

Re: How to document plugins/programs/presets for yourself?

For the Wiki solution, you can try https://tiddlywiki.com/
It's a one page wiki quite small and powerfull. No need for a server or a database.

Re: Compiling the Airwindows plugins without the deprecated VST2 SDK

Maybe it's possible to use the header file from vestige. Vestige is a reverse engineering header from the LMMS project. It has been used in Carla too: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/LMMS/lmms/master/include/aeffectx.h https://raw.githubusercontent.com/falkTX/Carla/develop/source/includes/vestige/...

Re: constant xruns

Which RT kernel do you run ?
Which graphic card do you have ?

I met some similar problem a while ago with a recent RT kernel. That was a problem with the AMD graphic card and some lock in the kernel.s
I had constant xruns after kernel upgrade.

Re: Which MIDI Foot Controller should I get?

With Behringer, I needed to set the min max value for the expression pedals (the default value where not 0 - 127 but something quite restricted).
With Tech21, I needed to set the default channel to 1 before being able to switch programs in guitarix.

Re: Which MIDI Foot Controller should I get?

The FBC pedalboard worked fine for me with guitarix, via a MIDI to usb cable. I think I've got this one: https://www.thomann.de/fr/miditech_midilink_mini.htm The only thing I struggle with: the expression pedal. I needed to set the min and max value and the procedure was not on the manual. I found i...

Re: Nice comparison between a real DX7 and Dexed

Yes, you're right, that's not a real scientific comparison, but that's nice to hear that the plugin sounds really similar to the DX7.

By the way, this morning, I found this website which generates DX7 cartridges ...

Nice comparison between a real DX7 and Dexed

Hello,

I found this interesting video where someone compare how Dexed compares to a real DX7.
