Re: Airwindows VST's
I also use Console alot, always on the 2buss and the sub-busses, and PurestConsole is always used on vocal stacks. Adds a real dimension, and it's definitely one you feel, not hear. Density on HipHop basslines is incredible, can be very subtle or a weapon of mass destruction. NC17 is fantastic for g...

Re: Airwindows VST's
Hey guys, an update at the end of his latest plugin release reads: I’m still working on getting the Linux build to work. It’ll be an .so file, and when those become possible I will update every plugin I’ve made VST so far, to be also LinuxVST. (if anyone’s building LinuxVSTs, I’d love some pointers!...

Re: Airwindows VST's
Just talked to him yesterday, he says he's still 100% on doing it, just that he's basically been lazy. See what happens, I definitely hope he delivers!

So sometimes I use bridged windows plugins in my mastering chain, but when I don't I will normally... First put a LUFS Meter at the end of the chain. Generally as I master I'll only squash it until I'm hitting around -8 LUFS, though for some radio-focused stuff I'll crush it to -6. I put the LSP Spe...

Re: individual plugins vs bus plugins
Depends on what processing you wish to do. If the sounds require the same type of processing, try doing it on a bus. Some processing, like compression, will have a different effect on a bus than it would on individual tracks. It's very common to compress a bus of sounds that have their own individua...

Great work as always Sadko... Already your compressor was my go-to and now it's even better!
Question: Any way to make the EQ frequency display focus on a smaller range? Most of my EQing is within 5dB of change so on the current spectrum it looks like very miniscule changes.

Cheers again Sadko! Amazing work as always!
I'd say I think we're missing subtle saturation / distortion plugins. Stuff like VarietyOfSound used to put out -- FerricTDS, Tessla, the saturation stage in NastyVCS.
Any chance for 8x oversampling in the limiter plugin?

So he's said he's going to install Ubuntu on a VM in his dev box and compile for linux. We'll see indeed, but I'd be surprised if he doesn't release before source code since everything is GUI-less VST

Airwindows VST's
Hey guys, just letting everybody know that Chris Johnson, the guy behind the Airwindows AU's is converting his plugins to VST and releasing them for free. They are seriously fantastic, and if his Patreon hits $400 a month or over (Currently at $395!), he's going to release Linux VST's. He's got ever...

Re: Voice plugin like a tube fx compressor
I'll throw my hat in with the Invada Tube Distortion plugin. I'm not sure how close it is to a real tube, but whenever I've needed tube sat, it's done the trick.
KXStudio repositories have the whole Invada plugin bundle in the repositories... as well as just about every other plugin, ever.
