Re: How to improve drum machine sound

Why not analyzing the SR16 beats by ear and transfering it to e.g. Ardour? Then you will also learn how to make your own beats. I like the SR16. It doesn't sound like a real drumkit, but it has character. It was used a lot in EBM music and also Autechre uaed it (guess they used everything though ......

Re: Looking for versatile sampler plugin

What about redux? Most likely would be great, but regarding how much I use sampler, cost is too much for me. Also Reapers sampler can do such things. Does it work outside Reaper? And I suppose it is not available as separate product? I don't think the Reaper sampler will work outside reaper. I did ...

Re: VCV Rack 1.0 released

I'm not up to date, but is also the plugin Version updated? Not all of them have been ported yet but most of the popular ones are on the way as far as I know. If you look on the vcvrack library page and sort by updated you can see which are already available in v1. Thanks, if I have a little bit mo...

Re: jam618 - sketch

I find it very good until ~4 min or so. Then I loose somewhat interest as the track is going nowhere (the way that it is now, it's too long imo). But this also can be a question of the mix. Re: The Midnight / Hubble Space Telescope

First one is too short, second one is great. I like both of them. There is quite a lot of dynamic, maybe it would help to add a bit of compression.
