Re: I think it's that time of the year again

At least one use for such is search engine optimization. Search engines give higher rating for pages which have plenty of links from different domains. Yes. And the funny thing is that these techniques usually don't work. Search engines are well aware of this kind of fraudulent link placements and ...

Re: Arturia Midi Driver - has anybody got it working in WINE? (subject amended)

I didn't read back through all of the other posts, so I apologize if this has already been suggested, but if you used KVM/QEMU and purchased a gray market Windows 11 license, you could use an actual install of Windows 11 from within your Linux machine, and everything would work just fine. At least ...

Re: Professional Linux Audio Users, How Did You Do It?

Concerning Reaper freezing up: I take it that you use the Linux native version of it, not Reaper via Wine. Maybe they can offer support via the Reaper forum (it is paid software so you may expect some form of support from 'm). Concerning the use of software from one operating system (Windows) in an...

Hi tavasti. Did you get Soundpaint to work in the end? 8dio do some lovely libraries so would be useful.

No, at least then it was not possible, and haven't tried ever after it.

Re: Is there any way to scale wine VSTs up for 4K displays?

For me 4k resolution would be ok in 46" monitor (same pixel density than FullHD in 23"). My eyesight is not that good that I would need more than fullhd in 'normal' monitor. And on that 46", scaling would not be a problem :-) I totally agree! 4k on a 46" monitor would be a dream...

Re: Is there any way to scale wine VSTs up for 4K displays?

I'm going blind looking at tiny VSTs on my 4K monitor. Is there any way to scale them up by 2x or something? I already have UI scaling set in KDE, but it doesn't affect wine. Edit: I discovered the DPI setting in winecfg affects some plugins but not others. Looks like VST3 are affected. If someone ...

To my understanding, Behringer interfaces work without problems. They aren't talked much because there is nothing to talk about. Get interface, plug in and use.
