Re: Grass in the Pasture

A very good start.
A very few years ago I'd have jumped at an excuse to visit fellow musos in Europe. The combined effect of Brexit (Grrr) and COVID have pretty much knocked that on the head

It might be a question of the number of plugins loaded in a session.
Good Point. I normally work with Yoshimi, Rosegarden, Qsynth, Hydrogen, Audacity - no plugins.

Re: Hi there from Australia

Folderol - impresses that you compose/create original music while also being a software developer; bit like an engineer writing poetry. Heard rumours that Boris's got it all sorted for the UK by tomorrow. Thanks. I consider myself a musician firstly, and got dragged into development when it looked ...

Re: Hi there from Australia

And hello from virus central (UK) :/
I sometimes find newcomers stumble over things that those of us doing development work completely take for granted, so feedback is quite valuable. Comment away :D

That's a rather interesting mix of sounds, and styles.

Re: Chained

I didn't like this as much as the previous one... that is until the guitar kicked in about 2/3 through. That was rather tasty :)

Quite an epic that! I was going to just dip in, but ended up listening right through :D
Very enjoyable.

Re: Two Recent Tracks (Nuit & ma-jik)

I enjoyed these, but found the voiceovers in Ma-jik a bit of a distraction - I'm never keen on them.

Re: Gate of Aldebaran - Dream of the Nebulae II [space music)

Nearly missed this!
Lovely contrast between the slow (yes spacey) pads and the rhythm - also like that way that fades and comes back. Then there's those very quiet details.
Totally captivating.

Had these running through the early morning while doing 'stuff'. Connor's album in particular was a very pleasant listen indeed 8)
