@Joermungand Lol - thanks for the recommendation - I haven't considered Arch for mainline GUI stuff where I need it to support other users used to windows, but I enjoy its targeted customizability on one of my laptops.. once customizing gets past pacman, that is, at the *end* of the day.

Hello, On a fresh install I have no network connectivity (I'm behind wired dhcp 802.11x: peap/mschapv2).
