Re: Do any Guitar pedal makers offer Linux support?

Supporting an open source and linux-friendly pedal maker is the best way to go but if you are stuck with proprietary gear note there are often community projects to help. These are two I know about, there are probably more. qtpod: https://llg.cubic.org/tools/qtpod/ Line6 POD 2.0 and POD Pro gdigi: h...

Re: Help finding the right software

Thank you for the kind words and feedback, you are right the callback parameters need documentation.

Right now I can tell you "pc" is the program change message and "pos" is a time position object that tells when it was received, both of these types will be documented in an upcoming release.

Re: Help finding the right software

If you don't need a GUI you can do something like this in a few lines of bipscript: local input = Midi.Input("input") local output = Audio.StereoOutput("output1", "system:playback_1", "system:playback_2") local clip = Audio.Clip("./test.wav") input.onProgramChange(function (pc, pos) { print("pc: " +...

Re: OSCDisplay

Would this be realtime? e.g. Someone is doing media in one location in the room. All slide changes affect everyone's tablet onstage along with main presentation display. Everything happens realtime in sync? You could have several tablets running the app and configured to listen on a multicast addre...

Re: New Bipscript Example: Robot Jazz Band

No demos yet, the scripts are very basic, under 100 lines of code each. There are certainly more complete "band in a box" applications for those who need that. This example is probably more useful as a starting point for somebody who wants to script their own custom robot backup band.

for people who want a "drum kit" plugin that's a little more versatile than drumv1, but not as complicated or bulky as hydrogen or linuxsampler
how does it compare to DrumGizmo? (http://www.drumgizmo.org/)
