Re: How does a beginner synchronize MIDI clips with different plugins (Qtractor)?
Hi,
I am using Calf Fluidsynth on the MIDI bus and the Black Pearl Drumkit for testing. The mentioned offset can only have positive values, so I will try to sync the clips. Thanks for all the help.

Re: How does a beginner synchronize MIDI clips with different plugins (Qtractor)?
Hi,
thanks for the quick reply. I am exporting the MIDI file in JJazzlab and then import the tracks into qtractor. When all tracks use the same plugin everything is fine. How do I compensate different plugin latencies?

Re: Forever Newbie Seeks The Light
And below is the event list which is where I can write on demand: One of my goals in life is to fund the creation of a cross platform MIDI plugin that would mimic this event list with all of its original shortcuts. (Basically the MIDI plugin wil be a sequencer within a sequencer). Qtractor has an e...

How does a beginner synchronize MIDI clips with different plugins (Qtractor)?
Hi, I use JJazzlab for rapid backing track creation to generate 4-6 MIDI tracks perfectly in sync. I created a MIDI bus with a GM soundfont in my sequencer (Qtractor) and route all tracks to this bus and it works fine. But when I disable the soundfont only for the drums and add a drum plugin to the ...

Hi,
start Carla, click on "patchbay" and check for Musescore and your keyboard. Now connect them using the mouse. If Musescore is not showing up, check Musescores input/output settings.
Musescore further has a button to start listening for MIDI input.

Hi,
I am using Konfyt with Mint 20.3 and an experimental pipewire setup. Is there an option to start Konfyt with the last used project or with a parameter for loading a given one?

Hi,
you can just drag and drop a GM MIDI sound font into carla and connect it with JJazzlab.

Re: JJazzLab, new free software to make backing tracks in a few minutes
HI, try to avoid a mixed Pulseaudio / Jack setup. You need a low latency setup for synchronizing your playing with other components. Here is my setup (shortly described): - Start carla - Drag in a General MIDI (GM) Font (e.g. /usr/share/sounds/sf2/FluidR3_GM.sf2) - Add your VST/Synth to carla - Conn...

Re: [ANN] Konfyt Digital Keyboard Workstation v1.1.6
Hi,
thanks for the answers, I found a "MIDI Velocity Adjust" plugin, where an offset for a 'gain' can be added:
https://x42-plugins.com/x42/x42-midifil ... ocityscale
IMHO you have to hit the keys very hard on some keyboards to reach maximum velocity.

Re: [ANN] Konfyt Digital Keyboard Workstation v1.1.6
Hi, thanks for Konfyt, it converts my MIDI-Keyboard into an instrument, :-) Is it possible to boost/gain the velocity for cheap keyboards? I found the MIDI filter to limit the receiving velocity, but what does 'Velocity Limit Min/Max' mean? Especially for piano patches I found it useful to put a lit...

Re: JJazzLab 2.2 and new demo
I hope you know what I mean, is it possible to show the next line of bars a little earlier? Yes you're right, I see the problem, I'll fix that. Thanks for fixing this, it works very well here. I found another small issue: when a long song which requires scrolling ends and you press the space bar to...
