Re: Hydrogen syncing with Ardour (pipewire)
This is my jack.conf file (goes on /.config/pipewire). The "node.latency = 256/48000", inside "jack.properties", is the default latency for jack clients in pipewire. You can set custom latency values per app in the "jack.rules" section (for guitarix and rakarrack-plus i...

Re: Hydrogen syncing with Ardour (pipewire)
Qjackctl? Why? It's all managed by Pipewire. Latency you can set with PIPEWIRE_LATENCY="128/48000" application or in jack.conf: # global properties for all jack clients jack.properties = { node.latency = 256/48000 #node.lock-quantum = false #jack.merge-monitor = false #jack.short-name = fa...

Re: Hydrogen syncing with Ardour (pipewire)
I've done it last night.
For me it works the same way as using jack.
Do you have pipewire-jack installed?

Re: arch alternatives
Reaper isn't in the official repos as such. It's in the AUR -- the Arch user repository . The official repos are always up to date, perhaps too much for some people. I regularly update my kernel, and in the four years I've been using Arch, updating my kernel has messed up my system twice. It's easi...

Re: arch alternatives
Have you tried the Chaotic-AUR repository ( https://aur.chaotic.cx/ )? It brings automated builded AUR packages. There are some Wine variations as Wine-TKG ( https://madskjeldgaard.dk/posts/improve-vst-performance-wine-tkg/ ). I'm using Wine-NSPA ( https://github.com/nine7nine/Wine-NSPA ), a variati...

Re: The Superpiano
Thanks tseaver My intent was just to give some feedback to sofia-m (as he said it was a beta version) to eventual improvements of the already excellent sampled piano. @luciorgomes You might try opening the *.sfz file(s) in a text editor and deleting the <curve> stanza. On at least one earlier releas...

Thanks sofia-m! The piano sounds are excepcional! Didn't hear any problems with the samples. But I've got this errors/warnings when loading it: On Linuxsampler it doesn't work (via Qsampler): ... Re: rakarrack-plus
I love Rakarrack but it has its quirks. Interested in hearing from anyone using rakarrack-plus. Are there any repos with this packaged for Ubuntu? Will it ever replace rakarrack in the usual repos? (KX, Ubuntu, Arch, etc). In Arch is available on AUR. Binaries on archlinux-proaudio https://aur.arch...
