Re: One Moment

But the general problem remains for me, still have to find more about that: how to level the loudness of a piece so that it reasonably falls in the expected range for the listener (not having to adjust the volume between different tunes, basically) while still respecting the atmosphere of the origi...

I removed this menu in master because it was a duplicate of Midi->Plugins.
It should be called Scripts anyway IMO, to make it clear that it contains the scripts from the global and user scripts/ folder.
Ah, I see! And I agree that it should be renamed.

Re: AppImage for MusE (experimental)

@kybos, I found a small problem with the AppImage (using it right now for a new song, thought it would be a good test):

In the MIDI piano roll editor, the Plugins menu with the Python scripts is not shown.

Re: Working with multichannel LV2 plugin?

This is how I understand it (and it works). If this is the best way, I could write-up a short instruction for the How-to-section of the Wiki ( kybos ?). The example uses the AVL Drumkit Black Pearl Multi. The goal is to have separate drum sounds on separate audio channels so we can add fx and pan th...

[SOLVED] Working with multichannel LV2 plugin

Hi,

I would like to apply different fx to the channels of the x42 AVL drums (Black Pearl), so I insert the multi version. It should present several ports (http://x42-plugins.com/x42/x42-avldrums). Can MusE handle this, and if that is the case, how?

Is the idea to set up some kind of automatic production of daily (weekly?) AppImages?
Yes, that was exactly the idea. And of course I will create AppImages for the releases too.
Sounds great! Thumbs up!

Re: AppImage for MusE (experimental)

Is the idea to set up some kind of automatic production of daily (weekly?) AppImages? I download the master about once a month and compile, which isn't that complicated, and I get all the good new stuff. But an AppImage would be easier for many people, of course. Out of curiousity, what code changes...

I can hear a lot of improvement in your work over the last year, and this one is the most polished yet. Kajsa's performance is also improving. You are developing a very nice sound, you two.
Thanks a lot, @milo! I get a lot of encouragement and learn much from this forum! :)

Re: Love & Kindness

I liked this. It made me feel better, and a bit more hopeful.

The music was happy, too. The "duet" parts were my favorites.

I wish I could write a song like this one day. Thank you!

Re: [MUSEIC] Dreams of Seagulls - Lost in Tokyo

Hej! That was really great and instructive! First of all, the most common complaint I get is that my songs don't have enough bass freq's so I put the Output through Calf Compressor and then maxed it (almost) using Caf Bass Enhancer = my mastering skills! :) Your mix sounds MUCH better, and I really ...

Love the huge sound! Sometimes I also get a Beatles-vibe, and Anthony Phillips! Lots of very nice electronic sounds!

Re: Laser Tag (Failed Video Game Theme)

Reminds me of that synth song on the Rocky (IV?) soundtrack, which I loved. I think it is the bass. Very nice sounds. I don't have any problems with the drums really, but would have loved some fat Simmons SDS! :)

It reminded me of Talk Talk, a great band. :D
Yes, I thought of them too! They used a fretless bass too, this sounds like some of their later stuff. Maybe the bass is a bit too loud in the mix?

There is an asian vibe in it which I like! Relaxing track, without being boring.

BTW: We are planning a new release (3.2?) to come out very soon, so there should be an "official" version with all the recent UI rework before long.
Nice!
