Greeting from neighbourhood, from Finland!

Funny track! Where did you get those vocals?
Greetings neighbour! :)

I did the vocals myself, including the choir parts (3 parts).

Thank you for listening! Kiitos!

Re: Lars Domino - Längtan (alternative duet)

Yeah, those are heavy words. Writing about those dark emotions can help you process the past and forgive yourself sometimes. Yeah, at least it fuels your creativity... I just realized that I know one other Swedish word: "wintergatan." My kids like to follow their YouTube channel as they build the M...

I feel bad for that guy in Moscow. It sounds like the agents are going to get him.
He will make it to live another day. He always does. He just cranks up the volume and escapes! :)

Thank you for listening and commenting, @milo !

Re: Lars Domino - Längtan (alternative duet)

Thank you for listening, milo ! And for your comments. The toy piano was more about contrast I think. And the fact that I was just looking around my apartment for stuff to play a (analog) melody on! :) This is a translation of the first part of the song: And they say that death, is nothing to joke a...

Agenter på flykt - En gentleman i Moskva (swedish synth)

https://youtu.be/9RaHrBu4O-E A simple song, but I wanted to try out the "russian-sounding" chorus, thinking it up while showering... This style of music is from the synth scene of Sweden in the 80s...at least how I remember it. When the hardware could create one sequence but no more. Anyway, it was...

Lars Domino - Längtan (alternative duet)

https://youtu.be/VMa5IqcRyh8 As I'm mostly into electronic stuff, I thought I would try a duet with Kajsa, recording more real analog sounds. The lyrics are in Swedish, and "Längtan" means "longing". Made with MusE on Debian and some other stuff. The melodica lines are not that good but that is bec...

Oh that is one powerful track! Like the dynamics a lot, and the raw sound!

Re: The Iron Rod

Beautiful recording!!!

And I always appreciate your "About the recording" notes. When I make my own music, I am often in a kind of conversation with myself about what I do, and why. I should follow your example and jot it down.

Thank you!

Re: Automation doesn't work

Thank you : ) Not that MusE is in any way complete and there some bigger holes in functionality. But it is good to know that more and more people are finding that the way we want to approach music creation in MusE is worth it! I can only agree with garvalf that MusE is a pretty awesome machine. But...

Re: Automation doesn't work

Have you set the Automation mode button to Read? It is at the bottom of the mixer/channel strip.

See the wiki: https://github.com/muse-sequencer/muse/ ... automation

Automation is great stuff and works really well in MusE! :)
