Re: New Drumkit: CrocellKit

Hey, I just checked the ride cymbal channel of the CrocellKit in one of my compositions. I can't hear any hum except for the expected builtup of the cumbal resonating in the lower frequencies. If this is what you mean, you should just high-pass that or pinpoint eq it away. If this is not what you ar...

A call to arms! Midi files

Now that DrumGizmo 0.9.14 has been released and we are slowly expanding our roster of drumkits, we've been discussing internally how to best present the kits to the users. How do we help YOU choose the kit you want to work with inside of DrumGizmo. As of now it is a bit of trial and error to find th...

Re: New UI

The master bleed control will be added in a future unspecified release. We still need to discuss which internally on the team. But it's not far off, since it is something we think is quite easy to do BUT it also demands a small change to the file format. The master bleed slider should only affect in...

Re: Status of DG Edit?

Hi GMag, Without making any promises, we don't expect that the way the actual .wav files are stored will change. What /will/ change is the xml for both the kits and, as far as I remember, the instruments themselves. And, again, as far as I remember, we are mostly talking about additions to elements ...

Re: 0.9.11 plan

Tested both 64 and 32 bit VST dll's on Windows today. Both crash when the mouse poiner enters the DG window. Sound is fine on 32bit, but I never got to test that on 64bit since I don't have a project where a drumkit is already loaded. When I run plugingui.exe (both 32 and 64bit) I get the following ...

Re: Hello brave new world

If there is the possibility for a dev branch and a sup branch of forum, I would prefer that over the [dev] prefix.

Re: 0.9.11 plan

I am on the VST testing task, I just need to find the time... And maybe more importantly, energy. But I should be able to do it before the weekend.

Re: DrumGizmo kits

Ok, that's just a temporary zip which will disappear soon. If gmaq decides to permanently host it, I'll have him add a note. Or maybe you guys want to make it available, for use with other software? I'd like for you to change it in the temporary file aswell please. It's a public file with content i...

Re: DrumGizmo kits

The multi-channel drumgizmo kits don't really work well with most sfz players. So I converted the Muldjord kit to a stereo (2 chan) kit. "kit.sfz" is the whole kit (minus Ride2) mixed in stereo. There is a separate stereo sfz file for each drum, in case you want to process individual drum...

Re: DrumGizmo kits

Hey guys, Just stumbled upon your post and wanted to drop by and offer my help if you have any questions. I am one of the developers of the DrumGizmo software. Falktx I know of course, but if jeffg has any questions, just let me know. We are well aware that there are phasing issues when using the ki...
