Success!!
On debian buster/kxstudio the installation worked fine. No need to build it myself.
So I guess I should finally upgrade my main desktop machine from stretch to buster.
Thanks for your help!

Re: [LAA] Noise repellent 0.1.5 is out!
Thanks a lot for your help. So far I never needed to build anything myself, so I am completely inexperienced in that area. FalkTX is doing an extremely impressive job with kxstudio. I already figured out that he is not around in this forum anymore, but I already found him. There already was a packag...

Re: [LAA] Noise repellent 0.1.5 is out!
thanks for the quick response the lv2 directory seems to be /usr/lib/lv2, so thats where I copied the folder I also installed fftw3-static from the kxstudio repository And the plugin did indeed show up in the plugin manager in Ardour. But it failed to initialize. The Ardour log says: [ERROR]: LV2: F...

Re: [LAA] Noise repellent 0.1.5 is out!
This is actually exactly what I was looking for. How can I get it into my debian/kxstudio system? So far it does not seem to be hosted by kxstudio. Is there a .deb download or a repository? this maybe a bit of a noob question I downloaded the "noise-repellent-0.1.5-linux-amd64.zip" file co...

Re: Debian Buster fresh install and kxstudio-repos_10.0.2_all.deb Problem
I went for a different approach and now it works. I started over on a different laptop, so I had to install a fresh debian anyway, and installed kxstudio as the next step on a fresh system. After that I installed the other repositories including deb-multimedia and everything works fine :-) I assume ...

Re: Debian Buster fresh install and kxstudio-repos_10.0.2_all.deb Problem
Apps from the KXStudio repo are "non native" apps. And the KXStudio repo is a non native repo. So even though @thetotalchaos method might work to get you a working Debian system, it will not solve your prob's w/ the KXStudio repo because that method requires you to remove non native stuff...

[SOLVED] Debian Buster fresh install and kxstudio-repos_10.0.2_all.deb Problem
I set up Debian 10 Buster on an old Laptop, installed some more Packages from the original Repositories with apt-clone and then used GDebi to install the latest kxstudio-repos_10.0.2_all.deb. When trying to install kxstudio-meta-all I ran into tons of conflicts, that looked like gcc5 was missing. Bu...

Today I tested a fresh installing ,but by Ubuntu Mate 18.04 LTS (not beta). ... ... But Audacity ,Ardour,Hydrogen crashed with : free(): invalid pointer ... That is worrying. I use Debian on all other machines, but there is one xubuntu 16 LTS laptop that I'd like to upgrade. Is this still the case ...

Re: What happened to Freqtweak? solved
I managed to install this great tool on my debian-stretch/kxstudio machine. Here is how: I installed xubuntu LTS on a Laptop because I wanted to try out lightworks. I was happy to find out that freqtweak was available on that system. Then I went to the ubuntu page to look for a .deb intaller package...

kxstudio.linuxaudio.org offline
Is it just me, or is kxstudio.linuxaudio.org offline?
apt-get update doesn't run through and http://kxstudio.linuxaudio.org/Repositories produces a 404 error message.
Whats going on? Am I missing something?
