Watching 'Muscle-Shoals', a documentary about the famous deep south studio, and the music that was recorded there. Watching on Tubi, a free net TV station, with short commercials at times. Simple registration/login. https://tubitv.com/movies/507408/muscle-shoals There is also a documentary about 'Th...

Re: Guitarix.vst v0.3 Release

Click the + to open a new module. There is now Neural menu option, so use that to choose the desired version. You'll want separate folders to keep the downloaded .nam and .aidax gear separate, and use the gui's browser widgets to find your saved items. Some come with dozens of files, so subfolders w...

Re: Guitarix.vst v0.3 Release

Something tells me I'll be happily diving down one hell of a rabbit hole to check out all the goodies Guitarix offers, especially since I don't have a lot of pedals to smash yet. Hi, at ToneHunter, you can search by 'most popular'. I've found the items with 900+ downloads to be pretty good, and ext...

Re: Guitarix.vst v0.3 Release

The RTNeural dual mode works fine, and with two aida-x amps, cpu is still much lower in than a single .nam amp in the Neural section  8) Using the A/B blend and input/output levels makes it easy to dial in what you like best from two different amps. For fun, sent the RTNeural amps to slow dee...

Re: Neural Amp Modeler LV2 GUI

I used the provided vst3 download instead of compiling. In AVLinux, with xfce desktop, recent linux Reaper, and nVidia graphics card (pcie 9400 GT), with both nouveau, and official nVidia driver.
Cheers

(The windows NAM also worked via wine-staging and was wrapped by yabridge.)

Cheers

...focused on guitars...and settled on a method or workflow that got them to a satisfying conclusion? A high quality car stereo is a really good way to test your sounds. Go to a BMW/Mercedes car lot, if needs be! Or buy a balanced system for your chariot. If like me, you can't ID artists and their ...

Motorolla-dsp56300 emu with gui updated

https://dsp56300.wordpress.com/downloads/ The debian packages install to /usr/local/lib/vst (or vst3 or clap) so I moved them to .clap, .vst, and .vst3, and tested the clap version. They require ROM files from the discontinued Access Virus B or C models, which are widely available for download, and ...

Re: New Bandcamp Album

Nice orchestration and flow, with a nice hint of Moody Blues in some places. Maybe a local thing? 8) Liking it more the second time through. It's a very complete and self contained presentation of peace. @ psyocean: A studio with keys and guitar chair centered at this window, with river and bird son...

Re: guitarix2-0.45.0 released

I confirm the noise was present in the linux vst3 version at 44100 24k, but not when I switched reaper default project and qjackctl settings to 48000. Various models have their own sounds based on the particular gear and modeling session. edit: gui with nvidia pcie 9400 GT card is fine in both nouve...

Re: Rated Blue - "Cranked Remastered" released!

I've not been an avid listener of famous bands, but I detected some skillz I'd associate with Steely Dan and Yes. Also, adding acoustic guitar and organ isn't easy these days, but flows well in these songs, and the stories are interesting. 8) Bravo! 8) You might like the Dave Simpson Trio, being a t...

Re: guitarix2-0.45.0 released

To find the Neural's in the Guitarix vst3, open a new panel with a click of the + widget, select Distortion from the menu, and take your pick, as in the pick below. I copied Neural Amp gear to the Music folder it opened by default, and also made an 'Aida-amps' folder there, for the RT Neural gear. B...

So easy to create a chain that sounds good to me. I lack an accurate frame of reference, but it's great fun. Looking forward to integrating some Neural models. Such amazing technology these days! Thanks for sharing years of work.
