Mooer GE300
I am trying to use a Mooer GE300 (http://www.mooeraudio.com/product/GE300-223.html ) as an USB audio interface with JACK on Kubuntu 20.04 + KXStudio. Input works perfectly. Output is very distorted. It's like every sound is sorrounded by loud white noise. The noise appears only when sounds are playe...

Re: KXStudio project is currently on a break
These are terrible news for me. KXStudio is the only distro that has always done whatever I needed out-of-the-box, with my favourite DE and all the tools I needed. I have checked the website quite every day since Ubuntu 18.04 has been released for KXStudio 18.04, and now it looks we have to wait unt...

Re: Can't get the right monitor resolution
Find the line that corresponds to your display adapter, it may start with "VGA compatible controller..." Post that line on this forum and we might be able to better help you get it working. Voila: 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Sky Lake Integrated Graphics (rev 07) I...

Can't get the right monitor resolution
Hello, I've just installed KXStudio 14.04.5 on a pc (it's an ASUS VivoMini UN65U or something very similar). It works with the wrong screen resolution, doesn't recognise the second screen and I can't do anything about it in KDE's system settings (just one screen, one possible resolution and one poss...

A good jack-compatible audio player who stays connected to the outputs I want?
Hello, I need to play a playlist of audio files to the outputs 3-4 of my soundcard. I have tried with both VLC and Clementine, who have JACK support, but every time a song finish and they begin playing the next song, they automatically reconnect to outputs 1-2. Is there any player that behave proper...

Re: Skip the ISO and focus on documentation?
I vote for the ISO. The Linux audio world needs a good out-of-the-box experience, and KXStudio is the best one as far as I know, even if it lacks a modern DE like KDE5. With it it would be perfect, and I'm dying waiting for it. I have just tried installing things from the repos in Kubuntu 18.04 and ...

Re: Transcribe! on KXStudio
I have tried this jackaudiosink thing, and the problem is still there. It is only just a little different: playback works normally the first time, the second time it starts a while after I press play, and then it takes more time every time I press play. By the fourth or the fifth time I press play, ...

Transcribe! on KXStudio
Hello, I have troubles running Seventhstring's Transcribe! on a quite-freshly-installed KXStudio. I can start the software, I can play the file but after I press the space bar to stop the play button (or the space bar) doesn't work anymore. I am succesfully using transcribe on other distros, it look...

Re: Package requests here! (New and updates)
I don't think there's any point in using <14.04 in 2015.
Is there a way to tell every <14.04 user the he/she won't receive updates anymore?

Re: Package requests here! (New and updates)
Hi FalkTX,
I've just noticed that MuseScore 2.0.1 has been released. Unfortunately, I can't find any release notes.
