Re: LNXMuSCNS video meetings on Saturday / 6pm GMT / 8pm CEST / 14.00 EDT

Also, we had some connection issues and later we switched to the public jitsi server at the company I recently started working for.
We used https://meetme.bit.nl/LinuxMusicians
Everything worked smoothly but that could've easily been because only me @LAM and @briandc were left.

Re: software for controlling Keyboard tuning

do you want to change the tuning of your digital piano, or do you want to change tuning after the sound comes out

Also, I can't find a keyboard/piano called Yamaha PA 300, only AC adapters.

Re: Watch Out For Corporate Espionage and Sabotage and Malicious Hacking

If you look at OP's posts on this forum you'll many posts about running windows vst and windows software.
So this could have introduced
1. a backdoor or virus or whatever (imho unlikely)
2. broken system (more likely)

Re: Watch Out For Corporate Espionage and Sabotage and Malicious Hacking

What's more likely.
1. You've been hacked!
2. You've done something stupid and broke your own system.

Re: Watch Out For Corporate Espionage and Sabotage and Malicious Hacking

also, beware of windows vst in your system
don't trust those black box plugins, god knows what they do

@j_e_f_f_g do you think wrapping your pc in tinfoil would help ?

or wrapping just the windows vst in tin foil is enough ?

Re: Learning C++

Hardest thing with c++ , when you start totally from scratch, is building the god damned project. With libraries and linking. And you can use build systems like Makefile, CMake, Meson or just do it on the command line .. sigh anyway I learned (a bit) of c++ by following the New Boston c++ playlist h...

Re: Libre Music Challenge #13 : Looptober

Sorry for kinda abandoning this, but I've found out it's just not feasible to be fully active in this. Since the pandemic I'm forced to do several jobs. Currently some of my music work is back (for now at least) and the few free hours I have I'd rather spend on the many , many , many projects I stil...
