Re: New programmer need help (onNanoDisplay and onMouse)

Also, why do you need nanovg ? if you are using image widgets :?: for drawing you can use DGL code or plain old opengl zam audio has some good examples https://github.com/zamaudio/zam-plugins/blob/master/plugins/ZamSynth/ZamSynthUI.cpp if you want, hop on irc freenode #lad, I'm often there. or join ...

Re: New programmer need help (onNanoDisplay and onMouse)

bit of pseudo code onMouse() if (mousePress and UI.contains(x.y) bool mouseDown is true onMotion() if (mouseDown and UI.contains(x,y)) get new x,y repaint(); // repaint() is real code  https://distrho.github.io/DPF/classWindow.html if the repaint is too stuttery then you need idleCallback(), b...

Re: New programmer need help (onNanoDisplay and onMouse)

You'll need to add the idleCallback.
I'll have a look at your code later.

Re: Getting "cannot allocate memory" error, although running in real time

Does the error message actually produce any errors?
If audio is doing fine just leave it like this.
I wouldn't mess with systemd unless you're 100% certain it's the issue.
Maybe add the 19.10 backport ppa and see if it wants to update jack itself, I sooner suspect a bug in jack than a bug in systemd.

Re: Ardour: Now output sound upon playback of track Mint

Feedback detected : kills all audio.
You've somehow connected an output to it's own input.
Either find the loop (it's hard probably) or start with a clean session.

Re: What do you want from a %100 free/libre SFZ sampler?

I use libsamplerate for resampling on loading only. Pitch is done with a simple linear interpolation which works good enough for the purposes of ninjas2, a sample slicer, with pitchbend. It's not a melodic sampler.
Although that's definitely on the list.

Falktx did a pr for lv2. They basically weren't interested.
Dunno if his fork of Juce is still up to date.

Re: Ardour: Now output sound upon playback of track Mint

Check alsamixer. Maybe your sound card uses separate outputs for headphone and amp.
When you plugin the headphone, the main out is muted. Ardour probably is still sending audio to the headphones.

Re: Convert rhythm to MIDI

I think one of the aubio tools can do that.
note: aubio is not a typo. On mobile now, can't check the package, just search your package manager.
