I can get a Behringer UMC204HD for under 100 euro (which I think is a good deal), but since is new, there isn't any info about linux usage. The device is usb2.0, but is class-compliant (it says on the Behringer page because of Mac compatibility). I wouldn't mind being the first to test an interface ...

Open Cadence and configure JACK. chose the correct interface and you should be good to go (You only have to do that once).

I have a couple of windows programs (Auralia and Musition, both from Avid) that I'm running on wine. Everything is working so far, except for midi output. If I select Midi Through Port-0 there's no sound and if I select a2jmidid-port or jack_midi-port there's an error saying that it is already being...
