As a little update on this topic I managed to find an old book called 260 drum machine patterns.. its a good start
Its an old book but for the price on amazon its well worth it, and for the torrent price (free) its even better..

Thanks man, I have it in the script box but it never seems to run so I have to open a terminal and run it manually..

Hi all, anyone had any luck running the LPK25 Akai keyboard with Yoshimi, I can get the lpk to show up in qjack but in the ALSA tab and I can only connect it to Midi through or back to itself, my Yoshmi shows up in the Midi writable clients tab, is there something im missing to get these 2 to work t...

ok just to let you know, problem solved, incase anyone cares to know..
I had to add a line to qjackctl in the interface option on setup, hw:CODEC
Then restarted it all and it worked..

So far I have managed to sync ardour with hydrogen using the JACk/internal switch, works rather well but now I want to add bass using my Alesis 8USB mixer as an input but cant get ardour to find it.. any help?

Hi all, just starting out with ardour and having a little trouble with latency..
how do I setup hydrogen with ardour to get best setup?
Also Im trying to use my usb mixer as an input but it doesn't show up on jack, but it shows up fine in audacity, anyone know anything about this?
