Tom does it open in any other programs ok?
I just tried ZynAddSubFX Version: 2.4.3 in Carla without a prob also command line no probs
Can you launch it on the command line?

I'm using KXstudio.

Hi Gvezdoslav welcome! Indeed it is much better to start out using a specialized distro like Kxstudio or AVlinux as there are many hacks to be done otherwise.
