Re: Songs About the Hard Times

Hey there glowrak guy, Sorry for the delayed response, I don't come here often in any case. I appreciate your comments. I too know there is an issue with the vocal harmony, but figuring out which track is going off, now that is truly an issue presently. My time for music has vanished for the time be...

Re: I'm a train

kamiluni, I am not very much into this style of music presented here. Yet it drew me in, and I found the lyrical presentation as extremely good. I choose to avoid the why, as it is pure opinion, and my opinions are far from mainstream almost always. Thanks for sharing, and job well done. Cheers!

Songs About the Hard Times

Hey out there in Linux land, I hope all is well within the group. It was a hard winter for me, but have gotten through to the very next spring, where flowers shall be blooming soon, yet again. I finished a new recording last week, my first that includes my playing banjo. It has been a fun road learn...

Re: Be a Square

Hey all, I missed the last few posts to the thread until now. Having been ill for 7 weeks now, life just goes by without my paying much attention to outside influences. As is always true, I like reception of the comments intended to assist in doing it better going forward. I do have a lot more to le...

Re: My way (Cover)

Again, I like it. Your vocal quality is very rich in expression. I have heard this song hundreds if not thousands of times over the course of my life, yet rarely have I paid the lyrics their due attention. With your recording/video, I did. It is a true classic and you did it well. Thanks for sharing.

The choice, is an excellent song. I enjoyed listening very much. I don't analyze the songs of others, I simply enjoy them or I don't. Thanks for sharing.

Re: Be a Square

Thanks to all for listening, as well as the comments. I doubt that I will address this song further, and call it done. I take notice of what was said in any regard and appreciate both the thought and the time to comment. I agree that the bass is muddy, but that issue is something I don't know what t...

Be a Square

Hey out there in LinuxMusicians land,

I wrote then composed this silly little nonsense song last month. I then decided to record it. Give it a listen if you wish.

Re: debian in meltdown?

This stuff is all pretty much beyond my comprehension. I am not very computer literate, I know only enough to have turned off the big 2 operating systems in exchange for the use of a FLOSS Linux OS. On a personal level, re-inventing the wheel is nonsense when what exists works just fine. I say that ...

Re: debian in meltdown?

Hey sunrat, Thanks for that information. i used to do the duel boot too, it is sort of inconvenient, but maybe worth while. I haven't tried duel booting since BIOS was done away with. I tried when I installed AVL MX-21 last year as an experiment, yet something didn't align correctly. when i ran Grub...

Re: City in the mountains

I listened, finding it a beautiful piece of music! I had to try to ignore the buzzy sounds there in, and succeeded in that. It makes no sense to me allowing that which I suppose is an effect. To my ear that sounds as though my speakers have a cracked/torn cones, which they don't. I am just saying th...

Re: Assistance wanted, loading AV Linux MX-21

Hey out there in LInuxMusician-land, With the assistance of those whom contributed to this thread, I learned a whole lot about the numerous ways to view OS installation and more. The process also solved one of the unknowns that I had noticed over the past 18 months, since upgrading from UbuntuStudio...
