Re: Pioneer DJM 750 alsa configuration
ok so i have the session set up in the patchbay also. after reading the output of qjackctl --help i have solved it all using the parameters -s and -a to auto start jack and use my patchbay file. I had used qjackctl a coupe of years ago but remember a lot of fiddling. but assisted fiddling is so much...

Re: Pioneer DJM 750 alsa configuration
thanks for the reply! i loved the alsa way for its simplicity.. i would just call xwax with two alsa devices. done. now all this extra software and stringing things up is very confusing to me.. what do i start? can you elaborate ..? im confused as to how pipewire, carla, jackd, (pw-jack?) and rayses...

Pioneer DJM 750 alsa configuration
hey folks, i am trying to get single channels of the DJM750 accessible as alsa devices. it has 4 stereo channels out and a bunch of inputs (not sure how many are actually connected to the internal soundcard). the mixer's card works with mixxx, i can select channel pairs in the settings. but outside ...

Re: M-Audio Quattro
@Frank: Thanks a lot, man you made my day with this! adding the quattro.conf file fixed my problem. this single line got the quattro back on board for me ;) it's running absolutely great in 4in/4out mode! (using the -S switch) for two years now i have been in need for this.. all the wikis containing...

Re: M-Audio Quattro
I got 4in/4out to work, using the .asoundrc file you posted. as you said, the -S parameter does the trick. so im using: jackd -d alsa -d quattro -S & qjackctl in qjackctl ive set up a batchbay to connect the quattro to xwax, as well as some server options (RT, buffer, etc) its working fine as fa...

Hey Frank! Have I understood correctly, you managed to run the Quattro in 4in/4out mode under linux? Ive tried to get this config working for a while now. so much hassle! Could you post your configs/setups in order to achieve this? you'd totally save the day !! :) (mine at least) thanks a lot, Kenneth

Re: M-Audio Quattro USB first channel input too high
well i tried with the varying -r -i and -o parameters with no luck. still not visible in mixxx and same errors. when running without jack i get it shown as a possible device in mixxx, but it has 128 channels. when trying anything but 96khz it says wrong sample rate, and when i do it says "unant...
