Re: MOD Devices sponsors Linuxmusicians.com

Well, I for one support this, I don't see anything wrong it at all. I'm not really interested in arguing about it with hardliners though.

Really? When did that start? I haven't updated to the new base yet but can't imagine that would change much in this respect.
edit: oh wait, I misread your post. You can't enable it?! Just as well really.

the only disappointing fact is making the tool dependent on the distribution. should have been developed with the thought of cross-desktop, cross-distro usage in mind

Which desktop is it specific to? I thought they were moving to kDE soon.

Re: Can't get the right monitor resolution

I think you might need to update the kernel and graphics drivers. You could do it with PPAs (like adding liquorix kernel will give you a very recent one) it might be worth waiting for the next kxstudio iso release (there is a beta available on the forum but I don't know if it is in an installable st...

Re: vember audio surge is now opensource

"currently only builds on windows, but getting it to build on macOS again & Linux should be doable with moderate effort" Does this mean it needs code changes to build or that dependency packages aren't known? Really hope someone can make it happen, I'd be so happy to have this running...

Wow this would be amazing, it's a fantastic synth. Attracted a lot of attention after Infected Mushroom used in a video and said it was one of their go to synths.

I read today that spotify is going to allow artists to upload their music directly.

Not doing much music right now but just want to express my interest in anything you do, a few of yours are my daily drivers. Nice to see an update.

What happened to EQ4000? I bought it and then soon after it disappeared from the website. Is it abandoned?

Re: Bend-/+

I didn't think on pitch bend, this is something different. I'm struggling with zynaddsubfx to make that. No, not pitch bend. I know what you mean, you're talking about what's in Massive right? You can do it in zynaddsubfx, it has a much more extreme range though so you don't need big changes in the...

Did you look in the log after scanning? Thanks for the reply, I forgot to subscribe to the thread so only just noticed it! I didn't know there was a log, but I have just looked at it and the plugins for some reason are blacklisted (even Carla). It's strange because the same plugins work fine in Rea...

Re: Stereo widening

I had doubts about this kind of testing. After all, why test in mono in 2018 when we all have stereo ? ... Indeed there are a lot of reasons to look in to mono compatibility, I think it would surprise many people how often they hear mono or only part of a stereo signal - think about if you go to a ...
