Re: Questions about using Debian
Ubuntu 13.10 I did exactly this : Ubuntu users can also install deb files for the repositories, but different files are needed for each version. As such, we recommend you to enable the repositories using the command-line instead. Just follow these steps: # Install needed tools sudo apt-get install s...

Re: Questions about using Debian
It is marked as broken in Synaptic. On Mint 16 too, but only after I updated the system right after a fresh install. It seems wine-rt-amd64 asks for an older version of libgphoto on Mint.

Re: Questions about using Debian
Everything works great here with Crunchbang Waldorf and KXStudios repos.
Anyone managed to get wine-rt and wineasio from KXStudios Debian repos, or we have to wait ?

Re: Tunefish synth
It needs Glibc 2.15, where I'm running a Debian Wheezy Stable with Glibc 2.13. Too bad At least it is not Carla
The upgrade is doable but appears to be a little bit dangerous...

Re: Tunefish synth
Carla can't find it, I've put it in /usr/lib/vst
There is already FooYC20.so there, and it is seen by Carla on refresh, but not Tunefish. Is there anything special to do besides unpacking the Tunefish archive in the directory ?

Re: Arch x64 - Carla crashes with Win VST
I'm running ArchLinux x64, with the RT-LTS 3.10.25-rt23 kernel, frome the proaudio repo.
For Wine, it's the 1.7.10 RT, also from the proaudio.
Let me know if you need more informations about my setup.

Re: Arch x64 - Carla crashes with Win VST
Every VST I try. To be more specific, I tried TyrellN6, shortcicuit, and Twin2.
Works fine from console or in Qtractor, but loading one of them crashes Carla's engine, and Jack as it seems.

Re: Arch x64 - Carla crashes with Win VST
Yes, it is a Win32 VST, found by Carla as a DSSI.
If you had the same bug, it's all right I guess. Is there a site or thread in here to follow Carla's evolution ?

Arch x64 - Carla crashes with Win VST
I'm using vst-host to load my VST instruments and effects. I wanted to try Carla, the patching tool caught my eyes, but everytime I load a VST the engine crashes.
Any thoughts ? The console remains sadly empty
