Re: Shuriken Beat Slicer 0.5

Hi Rockhopper, Yep, i'm still here! Mono mode works! I'm still impressed that you can add all these features without an mpc on your desk, i have trouble writing hello world programs without forgetting a semicolon somewhere. Setting mono mode is fantastic, but having the option to add all the samples...

Re: Package requests here! (New and updates)

ctrlr recently added 32bit builds.

so its not such a priority for me now. it'd still be nice.

Re: [ANN] Qtractor 0.7.3 - A Tackier Gluon is out!

ok, i'll report issues on github. i'll finish talking about the midi faders issue here though. maybe the delay you're being experiencing it's just about the "catch-up" feature of MIDI Controllers that is in effect as default. next time you try modify the MIDI controller assignment and set ...

Re: [ANN] Qtractor 0.7.3 - A Tackier Gluon is out!

this is the first version of qtractor i've used in anger, and i must say i'm verry impressed! i work with hardware synths and sequencers, so i don't have spare cash for a decent computer i runs incredibly well on my old amd 1.8ghz single core laptop with only 512bm ram.(kxstudio on lubuntu) i could ...

Re: [ANN] QjackCtl 0.4.1 is out!

i always thought of Qjackctl as one of those commands like cat or ls that have a long history and if i they don't do what i expect it's because i need to learn how they work, not because they need fixed. i imagine that at the bottom of the man page it is written: History: There was a QjackCtl comman...

Re: Shuriken Beat Slicer 0.5

that's something that would be nice in akai pgm export.

normaly the first thing i do when loading a set of samples from shuriken into the mpc is set poly mode to mono and mute group to 1.

Re: Shuriken Beat Slicer 0.4

zero crossing detection is really great! keyboard shortcuts would be nice though,

as long as the zero crossings are detected properly, a bit of sloppiness in the display is not a showstopper.

i'm looking forward to the release! things are coming along nicely!

Re: Shuriken Beat Slicer 0.4

hi rockhopper, my offer to make a video explaining the akai mpc500 workflow when you make a new relese still stands: in the mean time i've been using akaitools to export from shuriken to akai S3000 formatted zip disks. having this integrated into shurikens export dialog would be magic! after exporti...

Re: Shuriken Beat Slicer 0.4

Rockhopper, no problem, i'll get something to work standalone, then bug you to integrate it. hopefully real work won't keep you too busy! in the mean time i had an epiphany about send-sds. the midi in indicator on my S1000 lights up when the packet arrives, but it dosen't go into sds recei...
