Re: Focusrite Clarett now on USB! Will it work on Linux?
Clarett+ can now be used with the GUI program for hardware routing and mixing ( https://github.com/geoffreybennett/alsa-scarlett-gui ).Note however that this GUI program needs a backend Linux driver ( https://github.com/geoffreybennett/scarlett-gen2/releases/tag/v6.5.11c1 ) which is available in Ker...

Re: Focusrite Clarett now on USB! Will it work on Linux?
If it uses the USB2 audio standard (is there a USB3 audio standard?) which is likely since they support iPods which only use USB audio standard. Website does not mention if USB standard is used or not, that I could see. This is what is important. However, the control program will almost certainly n...

Focusrite Clarett now on USB! Will it work on Linux?
Has anyone seen the news? Focusrite Clarett goes USB! I already have Scarlett 2i4 which works great with Linux and was about to buy Scarlett 18i20 2nd gen. (https://us.focusrite.com/usb-audio-interfaces/scarlett-18i20) when this was announced. So now I would rather buy Clarett 8 pre USB (https://us....

Re: Bitwig and Nektar Panorama P6
Well I have to report that I don't know how to make Nektar Panorama P6 work under ArchLinux. It has 2 USB plugs - first for powering the motorized slider and second for everything else. I wanted to know what kind of device this represents itself as and after running dmesg -w I got an output which lo...

I am running Bitwig ( https://www.bitwig.com/en/bitwig-studio.html ) demo on Archlinux sucessfully (not with the RT kernel) and it is by far the best DAW for Linux that I have came across. Re: Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 is dead to Ubuntu 14.04.2
I have Scarlet 2i4 working under Archlinux just fine. Do you have any questions about setup files. I can post them here for you if you want. Maybee your kernel doesn't yet support the Scarlet 2i4... Upgrade to newer kernel (with Ubuntu usualy it is better to reinstall Ubuntu). If you just don't know...

Did you try to run Pulseaudio on top of jack? http://www.marzen.de/Holger/pulseaudio_and_jack/ Not yet. I have been trying the other way arround. To run JACK on top of the pulseaudio like described here (check the "new new way" which is a bit sloppy): https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/...
