Trouble Mounting Live USB

Postby johnywhy » Sat Jun 30, 2012 3:09 pm

hello, i created a live usb using the instructions here:

http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=67235

the usb boots ok, and gets as far as the kx studio splash screen.

but then, it drops back to terminal screen, with "cannot find iso file" alert.

is there a better way to make the usb? i'm running puppy linux.

thanks

If you boot the ISO from a DVD drive (burning it first, of course), you'll have the option to make a live-usb in there.
any normal Ubuntu install or cd also has a 'Startup Disk Creator' that lets you put a live-distro into a USB.

If can't do that^, unetbootin is not a bad choice.
