. I'll give a summary about me to introduce myself on this forum.I've always really enjoyed computers; I've understood them a bit more than the average member of Generation Z
. About 3 years ago, I started to get into hardware and the magical world of Linux. My first project was to restore my 10 year old Toshiba Satellite by turning it into some sort of iMac-like computer running Xubuntu. Since the computer was beyond repair and also beyond my understanding of things at the time, I couldn't complete it. In this situation, the journey was more important than the destination, the process of it all sparked this new fascination inside of me, and I haven't stopped yet.I wasn't musical during childhood. My mom put me into school band, and I thought, sure, why not? Turns out that was the best thing that could have happened, from beginnings as a tuba player in a Grade 6 band to player in my city's youth orchestra. I really hate sounding like I'm being narcissistic, but I have a natural understanding for music and able to pick up most instruments
And now to combine the two. I've really wanted to start recording on my Ubuntu laptop, so I'll be looking around and probably posting a few questions, I'm new to it all, and I'd really appreciate your help. Thank you, and I'll see you on the forums!
