Well, as far as I understand what Jose says, it seems to be possible to use the Emu 0404 USB audio interface in a basic fashion using Alsa, or even Jack.
I wish to use it in a simple configuration, getting audio outputs at 44.1kHz and MIDI input (one MIDI channel at a time). Target softwares are audio players, and Pianoteq, a keyboard synt.
Question: possible or not?
