Hey, I really like your tracks. I'm curious how you made them. Which software do you use, how did you get all those highly synthetic sounds?
Thanks for sharing them!

Thanks for listening!

@JohannesTress: It's been sort of a kitchen sink, and it's hard to keep focus because there are so many different approaches and applications. Right now I've been writing wav files in C++, basic additive synth, but not in realtime. I've got it on the list to check out supercollider and csound, but right now just c++, which is tedious. Then I import those into Ardour and add effects, I mostly use the calf plugins right now. I also just found a terminal app called 'Amber Granular' which granulates sound files for you according to some parameters set up in a configuration file.

Now to try and suss out why Ardour is so unstable on my machine! *So* close to being the dream setup on my laptop, but things keep crashing.

@artek: yeah, there's clipping. I'm lazy and I've moved on from that piece.

Dunno, gives it that 'rustic' feel, eh?

What I hear is like mosquito farts or cosmic radiation, I'm not even sure if it's track or my gear.

Ha! Probably the track. Well, hopefully you can still hear the basic idea of the piece. I'm trying to make a bunch of stuff and then select the things I like the most to clean up and make an album with, so maybe that will happen to this track.
