Does anyone here know where I can find extra banks of sounds for:
- Phasex,
- Zynaddsubfx,
- Yoshimi,
- AWSynth,
- mx44,
- Whysynth,

Thanks!

For ZynAddSubFx / Yoshimi, see Louigi Verona's project here:

Thanks Pablo! I'll try these out this afternoon! :)

It's not easy to find new sounds for the Linux softsynths. There are lots of free softsynths out there that require a host like Festige (for FST), but the open-source world needs more of these. Heck, if I could get a few people to collaborate with, I'd be willing to put up a website for people to share on. Open-source synths like Zyn and Yoshimi are great; but we need more. Definitely. And, if they're good enough, maybe more people would become curious to try Linux...

I've ported some nice noisemaker presets to LV2 format:
viewtopic.php?f=19&t=9876

noisemaker is this plugin -> http://kunz.corrupt.ch/products/tal-noisemaker
ported to linux some time ago -> http://distrho.sourceforge.net/ports.php#tal
