Guitarix 0.22.2 running only in terminal?

I've just managed to compile guitarix 0.22.2, but it doesn't show in the dash on Ubuntu 11.10, it starts only if I type it in the terminal. Is there a way I can add guitarix in my app list? Thanks!

Are you using Unity as your desktop environment? Did you try a google search with this terms? "Unity custom launcher"
