Thank you! The problem was the network scanner, just like you said.
In NetworkManager, I disabled the network scanning using the BSID option, and the xruns disappeared.
Thanks!

wireless, jackd and xruns
Hi folks! Plenty of xruns here :-) I've got a stable configuration for live sets with a Debian Stretch + PREEMT RT kernel (AVLinux 5.0.10-rt11avl2), running jackd at 64 frames with a NI Komplete audio 6 usb interface. This configuration is used to sync with another workstation via ethernet cable (ab...

jack.osc help
Hi! I'm trying to interface Pure Data with jack.osc, but I think I'm missing something :-) At the moment I can connect Pure Data to jack.osc and I've successfully registered the PD client to jack.osc server. I've also successfully executed the "/connect" and "/locate" messages, b...

Re: Presonus AudioBox 44vsl not properly detected
Hi,
I'm also interested in buying that kind of sound card, so I'm wondering if you have finally managed to make it work.
thanks

Re: PreSounus AudioBox 1818VSL Working in Linux
Hi, So, since Audiobox 1818VSL works, are there chances that the whole family of Audiobox usb works? I'm interested in AudioBox USB (http://www.presonus.com/products/Detail.aspx?ProductId=53) and AudioBox 22VSL (http://www.presonus.com/products/Detail.aspx?ProductId=63). Has anyone tested one of the...

Re: No sfz-engine in LinuxSampler
Hi, first of all you should check if your linuxsampler version was compiled with SFZ support. If you run linuxsampler from command line, you can see in the LS's log which engines are registered, just find a line similar to this: Registered sampler engines: 'GIG','SF2','SFZ' And check if SFZ is regis...

Re: Kernel 2.6.36 - A true musicians Kernel ?
Hi, I'm going to test this kernel too
Just a question: with 2.6.39 there is no need to use PREEMPT_RT patch to get the same performances of a -RT kernel?

Re: xruns and Macs
Hi, I have a mac book pro that runs ubuntu 10.04 with kernel 2.6.31-11-rt. I use jack with the built-in soundcard and also with a saffire LE (ffado) with latencies from 11.6ms to 5.8ms and I haven't experienced xruns. I've never heard about xruns issue, can you tell me more about it? I can make some...

Re: jack configuration and wine(asio) problem
I tryed both normal and RT wine, using this command to activate the RT patch: env WINE_RT=15 WINE_SRV_RT=10 wine .wine/drive_c/Programs/Native\ Instruments/Battery\ 3/Battery\ 3.exe And result was: WINE realtime scheduling hack enabled, realtime base priority has been set to 15 wineserver running SC...

jack configuration and wine(asio) problem
Hi, I'm new on this forum. I'm a (e-)drummer and I'd like to switch my setup from OSX to linux. In my live sets I use NI Battery3 triggered by a drumpad, so I've tryied to run Battery3 on my linux box. I installed and configured Jack, Qjackctl, Wine and Wineasio. In jack I set Frames/Period = 128, b...
